Description
A magnificent yew tree, which is thought to be more than 500 years old, has been named the Woodland Trust's Tree of the Year for 2022 in the UK.
The tree is growing in the grounds of the ruins of Waverley Abbey near Farnham, Surrey, England which is the first Cistercian monastery founded in Britain 900 years ago and the roots are growing around part of the ruined walls.
