Description
Eastbourne Pier in the late afternoon sun is situated in the seaside town of Eastbourne, East Sussex, England.
It was opened by Lord Edward Cavendish on 13 June 1870, although it was not actually completed until two years later.
The pier has suffered fire damage twice but was rebuit each time and is the venue for a number of events. .
